ICMS is seeking dependable and motivated Custodian to support a customer facility located in Peoria, IL. We’re searching for an experienced individual who can provide high-quality service, attention to detail, and understands the worth of exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facility working areas and restrooms, common areas, laboratories, conference room areas, elevators, and lobbies/visitor areas
- Duties involve a combination sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing, and polishing floors
- Removes trash and other refuse
- Dusts of furniture or fixtures
- Polishes metal fixtures or trimmings
- Provides supplies and minor maintenance services
- Cleans lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Work Product:
- Consistent and thorough adherence to cleaning procedures
- Initial and date of daily logs at each restroom, office or laboratory
- Completion and submission of daily work order sheet
- Report observations to Manager gathered during the course of daily job performance
- Supply replenishment requests
Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to pass an extensive background check
- High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to be on time for shifts
- Basic cleaning skills with ability to work with cleaning materials required to disinfect (i.e., Industrial disinfectant, industrial sanitizer, bleach/water solutions, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, in addition to following specific, detailed instructions
- Good communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Individual must be capable of climbing stairs and being on his or her feet for up to 8 hours a day and lift a minimum of 15 pounds
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
