Overview
As an Inside Technical Service and Support Phone Representative for Innovative DisplayWorks Refrigerated Beverage Equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operation, maintenance, and repair of our refrigerated equipment systems. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support and assistance to customers and field technicians, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction over the phone or via email. Duties
- Customer Interaction: You'll handle parts and technical inquiries and resolve issues related to IDW refrigerated beverage equipment via phone and email.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and guiding customers through the resolution of technical issues.
- Field Technician Support: Assisting field technicians remotely and scheduling on-site visits as needed.
- Documenting & Reporting: Maintaining clear and accurate records of customer interactions.
- Team Collaboration: Contributing to product development teams and internal troubleshooting guides.
- Training: Occasionally providing training on equipment to both customers and internal associates.
- Travel: Possible travel across the U.S. for product training or on-site support.
Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems is key, along with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Certifications: The EPA Level 1 Refrigeration certification is required within the first month of hire. HVAC or relevant experience is also a plus.
- Experience: Background in beverage industry equipment, vending machines, or HVAC systems is beneficial.
- Customer Service: Excellent phone presence and the ability to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
