What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appellate Attorney position at Innovative Driven?
Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with at least four years of appellate experience to join the team at one of New York's leading defense firms in their East Meadow, NY office! This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic and busy law practice which is widely considered to be one of the top defense firms!
The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in East Meadow, 2 remote.
The billable hour expectations are very reasonable as well (1560)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare appellants’ and respondents’ briefs
- Compile the necessary documents for the record or appendix on appeal
- Appear for oral arguments
- Assist with summary judgment and post-trial motions
- Provide litigation strategy and assistance during trials.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to NY bar
- 4 years of appellate experience in New York
- 5 civil litigation experience (medical malpractice defense focus preferred)
