What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney Specialist position at Innovative Driven?
Innovative Driven is a dynamic and busy law practice seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of medical malpractice defense experience, but we are open to considering candidates with litigation experience from other sectors.
This role offers a wonderful opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite in our East Meadow office and 2 days remote. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality legal services, and we are looking for a talented attorney to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery documents
- Conducting and/or defending depositions
- Court appearances
- Motion practice
- Performing legal and medical research
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the NY bar
- At least one year of litigation experience is required
- One year of medical malpractice defense litigation experience is preferred
