Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced Practice Group Manager to join the team at one of our most well-established and prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm clients! This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced professional from a peer firm to take the leap into a solid leadership position at a collegial and dynamic firm.
The ideal candidate for this amazing position will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, project management, or daily practice management from within a peer law firm.
The position is hybrid, with 3-4 days onsite each week, and 1-2 days remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide operational and financial planning support to the Practice Group Chair. This group has 250 or so lawyers, and is one of the largest at the firm.
- Assist in the development, execution and implementation of long-term goals for the group
- Oversee the day-to-day operations in client services and case management
- Produce reporting and analytics to build business intelligence that informs the team in financial planning, knowledge management and business development efforts
- Act as a primary point of contact and liaison between the Practice Group Chair and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, attorneys, administrative staff, and firm leadership.
- Manage and coordinate large-scale projects, including client engagements, new business initiatives, and process improvements.
- Ensure deadlines are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
- Identify and implement operational process improvements
- Support business development and client relationship activities
- Prepare presentations and arrange client engagements and senior firm management
- Facilitate communication and coordination between attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff
- Assist with staffing needs, recruitment, and professional development of team members.
- Oversee budget planning and financial operations for the practice group.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, project management or daily practice management from within a peer law firm is required
- Experience in transactional law from within a peer firm is also strongly preferred
Salary : $120,000 - $200,000
