Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Associate Attorney (Real Estate) to join the collaborative team at a well-respected law firm in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a great opportunity to represent developers and investors in ground-up developments, property conversions, and rehabilitation projects.
Attorneys at the firm enjoy a hybrid schedule, 3 days working onsite in Cleveland, OH and 2 days remotely! The firm offers a reasonable billable hour requirement, and a strong, positive firm culture that sets clients up for success!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ground up and rehabilitation development, including review and interpretation of environmental assessment reports.
- Drafting and reviewing Purchase Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, and easements. Reviewing and interpreting complex Title Commitments.
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including AIA forms.
- Reviewing and interpreting municipal ordinances.
- Taking a municipal project from introduction through project approval, including obtaining variances, rezonings and conditional use permits.
- Working with team applying for and obtaining economic incentives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 6 years including substantial experience in ground up and rehabilitation development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
