Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced Senior eDiscovery Project Manager to join the team at a collegial and vibrant law firm client!
Candidates must have at least five years of eDiscovery project management from a law firm or vendor. Relativity and eDiscovery database management experience is required for this position.
This is a, full-time, exempt position that will be hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Austin, and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Provide eDiscovery project management support to internal stakeholders
- Monitor deadlines, deliverables and dependencies.
- Design and implement best practices for document and data management.
- Coordinate the QC and completion of work requests with vendor teams.
- Develop and maintain protocols for project onboarding and closing, reporting, and document retention
- Develop and update templates, playbooks, guidelines, decision logs, reports, and other document review tools.
- Monitor the firm’s eDiscovery Managed Service Provider’s service delivery, activities and performance, and assist in managing the firm’s relationship with the service provider.
- Develop and maintain a functional and current understanding of defensible practices, case law and industry guidance related to eDiscovery.
- Work with eDiscovery Manager to identify and implement innovative technologies to improve eDiscovery service delivery and increase productivity.
- Support administrative processes related to service management including timekeeping, forecasting, reporting, billing and invoicing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA is preferred
- 5 years of project management experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment (litigation or eDiscovery) required.
- Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification preferred.
- Experience working with vendors on eDiscovery pricing proposals and project management.
- Must have Relativity and database management experience. Relativity Certified Admin credentials preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
