Job Summary:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals and groups within the community. This includes assisting individuals in identifying and communicating their needs and desires for services and supports. You will work collaboratively with individuals to implement services and supports tailored to their goals and desired outcomes, as outlined in their Centered Plan.
Position Details:
Location: Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg (surrounding counties)
Multiple Available Schedules: Various shifts available to accommodate your availability.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist with Health and Safety Procedures
· Support the Development of Individuals
· Facilitate Community Engagement for Individuals
· Provide Support to Team Members and Supervisors
· Assist with Person-Centered Planning and Outcomes
· Aid with Medical Requests
· Assist with Data Collection and Reporting
Position Requirements:
· Minimum 18 years of age
· High School Diploma or GED
· Valid Driver's License
· Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 70 lbs, standing, walking, and other physical tasks.

Job Type: Part-time and Full-time
Pay: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: 2 years of DSP experience preferred
License/Certification: Valid Driver's License required
Work Location: In person, commuting within the Hampton Roads area.
