Fresno Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is dedicated to providing its participants with comprehensive health and social supports that are proven to effectively manage chronic conditions and to reduce the risk for premature institutionalization. Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is equipped to maintain the overall aesthetic of Innovative Integrated Health (IIH) building and grounds; and ensures ongoing compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Repair, install and service facilities, properties and equipment in compliance with safety code and quality standards.
• Report maintenance requirements to team leader.
• Comply with safety standards/regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Evaluates and recommends items, including equipment, procedures, etc. which would prevent or reduce safety risks or
hazards.
• Completes OSHA training and transmits applicable content to the leadership team.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to
achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working
climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned.
• Adhere to and support the center’s practices, procedures, and policies including assigned break times and attendance.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Be flexible in schedule of hours worked.
• May require use of personal vehicle

• Ability to access all areas of the center throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of
another qualified employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 25 pounds.
• Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements,
bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling.
• Able to perform responsibilities with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
• Clinical Areas, may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue.
• Non-Clinical Areas tasks may involve occasional exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.
Requirements
Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in facilities maintenance
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Education & Certification(s):
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid California driver’s license
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant
contact.
