The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing schedules, ensuring efficiency for their staff, communicating with their manager for recommending disciplinary actions, identifying changes, and ensuring compliance and implementing strategy. In addition, the Transportation Supervisor will assist with monitoring the coordination of transportation services including route assignment and vehicle maintenance.

In addition, the Transportation Supervisor will assist with monitoring the coordination of transportation services including route assignment and vehicle maintenance.
Essential Job Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees vehicle maintenance and will ensure necessary repairs are completed.
- Provide purchase approval requests to the transportation manager as it relates to company vehicle needs.
- Monitors safety and staff’s adherence to laws and regulations. Provides department training to new members of the
- Develops and maintains proficiency in specialized software systems utilized in the department
- Managing attendance and schedules for appointed team.
- Provides recommendations on policy and procedure updates to contribute to the efficiency of the department.
- Assists with standardizing processes and procedures with their transportation staff
- Provides coverage for department functions as needed.
- Prepares correspondence, memos, and forms as requested by department manager.
- Analyzing schedule productivity and performance and identifying areas of improvement.
- Identifies department needs and ensures necessary equipment or supplies are available.
- Provides meaningful input and recommendations to the direct manager for mid-year and annual performance evaluations.
- Provides input and recommendations regarding discipline of staff when appropriate
- Responsible for overseeing the training of new hires within the department.
- Assisted staff with questions related to their functions/operations.
- Assists direct supervisor with timecard corrections, and monitoring time off requests.
- Demonstrates an understanding and applies knowledge of patient confidentiality regulations to protect the patient and
- Ability to transfer/supervise for another department as needed.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees assigned.
- Adhere to and support the center’s practices, procedures, and policies including assigned break times and attendance.
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Be flexible in the schedule of hours worked.
- May be required to use personal vehicle, if applicable. If using a personal vehicle, a valid California Driver’s License, current
- Travel to other Innovative Integrated Health locations on occasion is necessary for coverage needs and management
- Position is required to be onsite.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of computer skills. MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of general office procedures, equipment and filing systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to quickly learn department policies, procedures, goals, and services.
- Skill: Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to change priorities regularly.

- Ability to access all areas of the center throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain
- Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements,
- Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language.
- Work is generally performed in an indoor, well-lit, well-ventilated, heated, and air-conditioned environment.
- Minimum of (2) two years of demonstrated successful experience in managing a multi-disciplinary staff and non-exempt
- Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population.
- At a minimum a High School Diploma or GED required.
- A Valid California Driver’s License is required.
- Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant
