What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator - St George position at Innovative Labs?
The Warehouse Coordinator will facilitate the inventory operations of the warehouse and plant.
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will:
- Follow safety protocols while handling goods and equipment.
- Manage warehouse inventory through computer systems and documentation.
- Coordinates pickup and deliveries with carriers.
- Implement daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
- Manages daily flow of components and finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
- Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
- Completes monthly warehouse inventory.
- Operates warehouse equipment and box truck as needed.
- Documents all related activities completing forms and reports.
- Assists warehouse lead with plant duties as assigned.
- Completes warehouse cleaning duties and maintains company GMP’s.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn company SOP’s and computer systems.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory and warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift and box truck required.
- At least one year of work experience receiving and shipping in a warehouse required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
- Previous experience with forklift equipment and box truck operation.
- Adaptable to climate change due to outdoor dock and warehouse conditions.
