Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Work with the Project Manager to maintain a proper inventory of fitting and assembly supplies.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure components meet required standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Communicate directly with clients if something that was delivered is missing.
  • Assist clients onsite with assembly or any other needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a metal manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with pneumatics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
