Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated IT/IS Project Coordinator to manage and support project teams of 1 to 5 people. This role involves planning, scheduling, and controlling project and program activities. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter specialist for specific projects, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

Duties

• Organize and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports
• Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Coordinate project resources, tasks, and timelines to ensure successful project completion
• Track project progress and report on key metrics to project stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementation
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases for IT projects
• Utilize project management software such as Jira to track project tasks and milestones
• Use tools like Excel, SQL, and Visio for data analysis and visualization

Required Abilities and Skills

• Project Management: Basic project management techniques and strong skills in leading projects and initiatives.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to exercise sound judgment, evaluate options, and make decisions based on facts and rational assumptions while considering organizational resources.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Understanding of technical specifications, code requirements, and standards.
• Ability to develop cost-benefit analyses to support project options.
• Software Proficiency: Basic use of computer software tools.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including goal setting and prioritization.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan and organize effectively while maintaining awareness of interrelationships among tasks.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
