What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that drive success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, execute and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
- Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are met
- Conduct high level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
- Promote the company’s products and services to prospective customers
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Uncover opportunities that create real impact for clients.
- Identify and provide solutions to customer challenges across multiple categories.
- Engage in active listening to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Contribute to the community through philanthropic initiatives.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies in partnership with the Sales Director.
- Drive business growth by leveraging category experts and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Work with internal teams to streamline the ordering process.
- Resolve customer issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Maintain high customer retention rates and strengthen relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Meet and exceed sales and activity goals, including:
- Prospecting and account management using CRM tools.
- Executing agreed-upon dashboard activities (New Customers, Insiders, Tours, Business Reviews, and Opportunities).
- Utilizing reports and tools to optimize performance
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales, customer relationships, and achieving success. Key qualifications include:
- Proven ability to find, develop, and close sales opportunities.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (or a willingness to learn).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven mindset, motivated by both financial and career growth.
- Understanding of sales objectives, pricing, and competition (industry knowledge a plus).
- Competitive spirit and ability to succeed in a dynamic selling environment.
