Job Title: Branch Supervisor
Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Reports To: Operations Director
Location: Hibbing, MN
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the go to contact for the Hibbing & Marquette locations
- Ensure that Innovative Activities of the Month are carried out in Branch
- Responsible for the overall branch health and success
- Assesses branch opportunities and recommends improvements for talent capabilities and reporting structures
- Visits Marquette location on a quarterly basis

Sales & Market Strategy:
- Engages with branch sales leaders for branch success
- Engages Marketing team to help with branch awareness in the community
- Communicates sales team insights with the leadership team
- Analyzes and provides strategic improvements based off of market intelligence

Operates as a cultural leader – demonstrates examples of core value and brand promise daily
- Listens for potential issues
- Identifies and problem solves bottlenecks
- Provides branch insights to remote leaders, including Director of Furniture, Sales Directors, Furniture Manager, Driver Leads, Install leads, branch managers, Promo leadership and the Chief Operating Officer

Operations:
- Ensure building operations are running smoothly in Hibbing and Marquette locations
- Attends role specific company meetings
- Monitors and performs updates to warehouse pride of ownership
Daily Functions:
- Act as a consultant/liaison between all branch offices for staffing help.
- Responsible for making sure proper equipment is on site and is maintained, including forklifts and vehicles.
- Maintain uniform purchasing for all drivers and installers with help of Branch Operations Specialist.
- Orders supplies for office as needed.
- Assist in tracking & maintaining inventory levels for stock product.

Safety Functions
- Keep up to date on OSHA regulations.
- Ensure safety compliance working with the safety manager.
- Conduct forklift certification tests for all forklift users.

Delivery Functions
- Detrack – keep updated on changes in Detrack to package counts and routes.
- Continuously find improvements to optimize routes.
- Furniture Functions
- Work within CORE system to support installers as needed.
- Work with installers to make sure that they are using MOSS correctly.
- Help with the scheduling of jobs.
- Work with furniture team (FAC, Designers, PM) when doing any large projects.
- Help develop protocols for furniture.

Compliance Functions
- Be there to support all NECS updates.
- Conduct road tests for all new drivers or ensure that they’re completed.
- Ensure compliance for updating DOT Cards, MSHA certification, and driver’s licenses.

Teamwork:
- Openly exchange ideas and opinions with co-workers, Customer Care and ask for help when needed.
- Prioritize workload.
- Maintain a good attitude and positive communication.
- Communication: must follow up on issues/problems as quickly as possible. Keep the sales reps and Branch Operations Director informed of any issues. Work closely with manager on setting up and achieving quarterly goals.
- Assist sales reps with questions and requests.
Supervision:
- Responsible for management, coaching and personal development of direct reports
- Maintain, approve and monitor all timecards and vacation requests
- Regularly manage employee issues and concerns as they arise
- Facilitate the hiring and training of new employees
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of management experience
- Proficient with computer programs such as, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Works well under pressure and achieves deadlines
- Ability to work with detailed information accurately
- Ability to communicate both written and orally
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team environment
- Strong organization and prioritization skills; able to organize and plan work efforts to maximize work place efficiency and productivity
- Travel expectations – 10%
