Job Title: Furniture Coordinator
Department: Furniture
Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt
Reports To: Furniture Purchasing Supervisor
As an Innovative Office Solutions Furniture Coordinator, you will have the challenge of bridging the gap between furniture order origination and installation. Our internal and external customers need your attention to detail, proactive approach to problem solving and exceptional customer service skills.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare customer order quotes and proposals
- Collaborate with Account Executives to determine customer needs
- Work with vendors and manufacturers’ representatives on product and pricing quotes
- Order preparation and purchasing
- Partner with Furniture Team on pre-order preparation to ensure order accuracy
- Work with vendors on processing purchase orders: communicate relevant information, referencing contracts, quotes, requested ship dates and any other special requests
- Vendor and Order Management
- Verify order acknowledgments are received and discrepancies resolved
- Enter vendor ship dates and making sure they are meeting key project installation requirements
- Order Follow Up
- Work with Accounts Payable on resolving any vendor invoice discrepancies
- Return management and credits
- Punch and warranty resolution
- Teamwork
- Readily assist other team members during workload fluctuations
- Openly exchange ideas and problem solve with the team
- Work to collaborate with other departments, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office products – CORE Furniture software and 2020 Worksheet experience are ideal
- Works well under pressure and achieves deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to organize and plan work efforts to maximize work place efficiency and productivity
