Continuous Improvement and Training Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Continuous Improvement and Training Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing business processes and enhancing employee skills. This role requires a deep understanding of process analysis, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement change. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement methodologies and a passion for training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Accountability: Lead, manage, and hold cross-functional teams accountable for continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of ownership and responsibility, ensuring team members are empowered to achieve their goals.
• Process Analysis & Optimization: Conduct detailed analyses of current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs to build process improvement capabilities across teams. Evaluate the performance and ability of employees to understand and apply lean principles.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with department heads to align process improvement efforts with overall business objectives. Work closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of process improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet performance goals. Monitor activity levels of continuous improvement teams and alert management of additional support needed.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to leadership on the progress of process improvement initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Maintain reports of continuous improvement activities and present progress to senior management.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements. Implement changes that enhance project delivery and overall performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
• Leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Preferred: Experience in training and development, with a focus on process improvement.
