General Description of Position: This position will plan, organize, direct and coordinate the employees and resources of IPS equipment, personnel safety and quality of service objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct Leads and Technicians in the day-to-day business of company operations.
- Establish a culture of professionalism with open interactive team communication.
- Provide training, coaching, development and motivation for employee’s professional growth.
- Schedule manpower and resources for the division.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and corporate management by sharing information on effective practices, personnel and equipment needs.
- Address customer and employee satisfactions issues promptly.
- Ensure that the division is properly staffed and maintains adequate manpower.
- Oversee the orientation and training of all new employees.
- Responsible for applicable performance evaluations.
- Will coordinate between sales and operations to disseminate work scope, quality standards and timelines to plant personnel for completing jobs safely, on-time and meet customer expectations.
- Ensure operation plan, schedule and perform quality services safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for effective maintenance programs for equipment and vehicles.
- Travel as-needed to work directly with customers prior and post jobs
Essential Job Functions: (duties may include, but are not limited to the following)
- Must possess a valid drivers license and pass current DOT physical requirements. (Class A/B CDL preferred)
- Provides leadership, training, and motivation for operations crews
- Understanding of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, vacuum systems, sandblasting systems and other specialty equipment
- Responsible for the continued development of current and potential supervisors, crew leaders and technicians including periodic performance evaluations
- Possess experience with e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets (MS Office)
Essential Physical Functions / Requirements:
- Occasionally work under extreme climate conditions ( high heat, humidity & cold )
- Exposure to dust, vapors, and noise where proper protective equipment is required
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and interpret the English langauge fluently
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with client personnel and employees individually and in groups
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of working 12 hours on their feet per shift as required
- Must be capable of working additional hours per shift if needed
- Must be able to travel as required
- Hear and distinguish emergency signals while on duty
- Must be able to wear and utilize all types of personal protective equipment
- Must pass a pre-employment and occasional random drug screenings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
