About the Role:
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Lyndhurst, VA.
This role involves designing and optimizing refrigeration systems that use natural refrigerants, such as ammonia and CO2.
The successful candidate will lead the design of mechanical rooms, rooftop penthouses, piping systems, and other components associated with industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage warehouses.
- Lead system design, including tolerance dimensions, thermal analysis, and structural considerations.
- Ensure designs meet company procedures, industry regulations, and client standards.
- Review and submit detailed drawings for approval.
- Provide technical support during installation and construction.
- Build Bills of Materials (BOM) and input data into the ERP system.
- Collaborate with fabrication and purchasing teams.
