Job Title: Area Supervisor
Job Description: As an Area Supervisor at ISP Staffing LLC, you will oversee the daily
operations across multiple hotel properties, ensuring staff performance, compliance with
company policies, and seamless communication with property managers and the Operations
Director. You will play a key role in recruitment, training, and employee management,
maintaining high standards of service that align with ISP Staffing LLC’s Core Values.
Main Responsibilities:
Communication:
- Notify the Operations Director of any orders or issues related to accounts, managers,
employees, payroll, or external competition.
- Maintain constant communication via email and phone, being available 24/7 to address
any immediate needs or concerns.
- Proactively follow up with property managers and the operations team to ensure smooth
operations.
Recruitment:
- Lead recruitment efforts and manage new accounts to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Recruitment Process:
- Define Candidate Profile: Identify necessary skills and qualities based on client
requirements, including language proficiency, experience, presentation, schedule
availability, and other role-specific needs.
- Review and Preselect Candidates: Post job offers through official company
channels and external sites, ensuring candidates are chosen based on quality
standards.
- Interview and Evaluation: Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’
language skills, experience, and suitability, explaining company policies and
expectations. Arrange second interviews with hotel managers as required.
- Hiring and Onboarding: Clearly explain policies, regulations, and benefits to new
hires to set clear expectations and minimize turnover.
- Training Process: Guide new employees through their primary tasks and ensure
continuous follow-up during their short-, medium-, and long-term integration.
Administration:
- Oversee hotel employees to ensure adherence to uniform policies and proper entry/exit
times.
- Ensure timesheets are completed daily and employees clock in/out correctly.
- Educate employees on timekeeping procedures using timesheets or work records.
- Apply corrective measures as needed, issuing verbal and written warnings to maintain
order.
- Communicate ISP policies to both new and existing employees, including policies
regarding uniform costs, request-off procedures, and payment claims.
- Manage procedures related to employee check distribution and uniform return for
departing staff.
- Enforce workplace regulations, including attire and conduct.
Manager Liaison:
- Identify opportunities and assess the needs of managers and properties, supporting both
new and regular employees.
- Notify managers of employee off calls via email and follow up promptly.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with managers, providing detailed information on
new hires.
- Follow up on employee performance, training, and corrective measures, maintaining
regular communication with property managers.
Payroll Management:
- Provide hotels with timesheets for accurate hour tracking and collect them every Monday
for submission to payroll by 12:00 pm.
- Create new employee records with the appropriate rates and notify payroll of training
days, resignations, and uniform returns.
- Address payroll-related claims and ensure employees understand check collection
procedures.
