Job Description:
As the Recruiter your main responsibility is finding, screening and hiring qualified candidates for Innovative Service Providers, Staffing agency catering to the Hospitality Industry. The Recruiter will support various aspects of hotel staffing and operations, ensuring a seamless administration and assistance to the Director of Operations, Area Managers/supervisors. Responsibilities include overseeing application processes, interviewing, on boarding, managing employee records, coordinating payroll and uniform requests, and providing administrative support for audits and scheduling. You will serve as a critical link between operations leadership, area supervisors, and hotel managers.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Support:
- Identifying qualified candidates and scheduling interviews
- Creating offer letters and assisting in placement of new hires based off various hotel sites and needs
- Daily Communication with DOO, Area Supervisors, Area Manager
2. Worksite Management:
- Assisting in onboarding applicants - ensuring all necessary paperwork, documentation are complete and entering new hires into the HR system
Oversee application and onboarding processes for hotel sites, including Joinup, Lotus, Flex Force,and others.
3. Employee Record Management:
- Ensure accurate work records by monitoring employee punch-ins and creating Beeline and Workrecords IDs so employees are ready to punch from day one.
4. Uniform and Payroll Coordination:
- Handle payroll-related uniform requests, ensuring that employees have the necessary attire.
5. Audit Support:
- Provide assistance during audits, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
6. Training and Development:
- Train new Area Managers, guiding them through operational processes and standards.
7. Scheduling and Agenda Management:
- Manage the agenda for Area Supervisors and create weekly schedules, coordinating team activities and meetings.
8. Support for Area Supervisors and Managers:
- Act as a support resource for Area Supervisors, responding to requests and providing operational assistance.
9. Notion Business Management:
- Oversee and manage the Notion Business system for efficient information sharing and tracking.
10. Calendar and Request Management:
- Create and manage a calendar for daily staff requests, ensuring that all operational needs are organized and addressed.
11. Hotel Liasion
- Ability to communicate to Hotel Management in absence of DOO/Area Manager of any needs, pertinent, information, clarification and/or other changes
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in operations support and team coordination.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change
- Proficiency in Notion and workforce management systems (Beeline, Workrecords).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with hotel managers and team members.
- Bilingual in Spanish
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of BambooHR or similar HR System
- Knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and industry trends
- Marketing and sales skills
- Ability to negotiate and close deals with candidate
- Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with all levels of management/employees
