As a Residential caregiver in an Adult Family Home (AFH) program, you will be part of a 24/7 care team providing daily living support to clients with a range of disabilities in a 4-bed home.
Shifts Available:
Full-time and Part-time caregiver positions available, enjoy your weekends with every other weekend scheduled off!
1st – 6:00am-2:00pm
2nd – 2:00pm-10:00pm
3rd – 10:00pm-6:00am

Job Duties:
As a caregiver or personal care worker in an AFH, your role involves providing essential assistance to individuals with disabilities. You’ll plan and participate in leisure activities with clients, ensuring they have enjoyable experiences. Additionally, caregivers will transport and accompany clients to activities.
Personal care tasks, such as bathing and toileting, are a part of a caregiver's everyday role. You’ll also contribute to grocery shopping, meal preparation, and handle cleaning and laundry duties. Administering prescribed medications and maintaining accurate documentation are crucial aspects of your responsibilities as a caregiver.
Qualifications:
- Applicants for the caregiver position must be at least 18 years or older.
- For some positions, a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
- Caregiver experience desired but not necessary – comprehensive paid training provided.
