Job Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience with installation preferred, although if one has handy / electrical skills we are willing to train.
- Valid drivers license and ability to drive company bucket trucks.
- Experience with a fork lift is helpful
- Working at heights, on scaffolds, swing stages, bucket trucks, and in various weather conditions on a daily basis
- Ability to read drawings, surveys, blueprints in order to install signage properly.
- Experience with welding, hand tools, electrical work and blueprint reading helpful
- Own basic hand and cordless power tools (or ability to obtain prior to hire) See below tool reimbursement program is offered.
- Verify equipment adheres to safety standards
Specific Responsibilities of the Sign Installer Position
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Installation of custom signage both exterior and/or interior directed by design proof.
- Complete necessary safety training
- Installing signage using various processes such as: welding, bolting, screwing, etc.
- Assist in loading signage for travel to customer site safely
- Peform service repair work as needed
- Complete site surveys to ensure success of future projects
- Obtain completion photos and signs-offs
- Interact with customers and team members in professional manner
- Use tablet to review work orders and provide job progress communication
- Report job progress to General Superintendent, Project Manager and their department
- Stock and clean installation trucks daily
Schedule
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime as necessary
