This job will be performed 5 times a week
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, occasional buffing and polishing floor
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor

- Time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift

Summary
The General Cleaner position requires individuals with core skills in cleaning, janitorial experience, custodial experience, floor care, and commercial cleaning. Premium skills such as industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, porter experience, maintenance, and buffing are also valued. In addition to these skills, strong time management and communication skills are essential for success in this role. The General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various facilities, utilizing their expertise in cleaning and janitorial tasks. Effective communication and efficient time management will be key in ensuring tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
