Job Title: Office Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our Club. The ideal candidate will assist with customer service, administrative tasks, basic bookkeeping and help to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries appropriately.
· Maintain office files, records, and documentation in an organized manner.
· Assist with processing new memberships.
· Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as cash deposits, expense tracking, payroll processing and cash reconciliations.
· Assist with marketing tasks such as scheduling texts to membership, newsletters and flyers for upcoming events.
· Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in an administrative role or accounting background, preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.
· Knowledge of golf operations is a plus but not required.
Pay & Benefits:
· $18 - 20 per hour, based on experience.
· Part-time, between 10 – 30 hours based on the season.
· Flexible scheduling, no weekends required.
· Golf course privileges and discounted employee meals.
