What You'll Do:
- Identify and source materials required for repair and remanufacturing processes by collaborating with technicians.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and service standards are met.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
- Organize and store materials properly while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels of repair parts, tools, and consumables, and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Prepare parts and materials for repair processes, including cleaning, labeling, and staging.
- Track materials used in repair projects for accurate job costing and maintain detailed records of material transactions.
- Provide support to the repair team by ensuring timely delivery of materials and assisting with preparation and troubleshooting.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience in materials procurement, inventory management, or a related field, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with power transmission parts, electric motor components, and repair processes is highly desirable.
- Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
