What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Innovative Systems Group?
We are NOT able to consider c2c arrangements for this position. Candidates MUST be local and open to working a hybrid schedule.
This position is 1 year contract role with our direct client.
Position is within the Commercial Projects and Services department, which handles power projects and some nuclear projects.
Candidates should have electrical experience with high voltage and medium voltage, as well as QA program experience.
Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, test results, and quality assurance program performance, as well as working directly with him on refreshing the QA program.
Preferred Background: A preference for candidates with an electrical engineering background but mechanical engineers with the ability to read electrical drawings will also be considered.
Candidate would be expected to travel a little more than once a month, with active projects in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Some international travel about once per quarter.
Power industry experience is preferred, candidates from other high voltage industries or manufacturing industries would also be considered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Medium/high voltage experience
