Your training will consist of learning and performing each and every position within the community including Resident Care Aide, Medication Technician, Cook, Housekeeping, Laundry, General Maintenance, Marketing, Front Desk Concierge and then ultimately being an Executive Director.
The Administrator in Training will learn:
Promoting the community externally and touring prospective residentsMove in process with new residentsRemaining current on open inventory, pending move-ins and potential move-outsEnsuring all state regulations and company policies are followedEstablishing a positive rapport with local and state agencies and ensuring the community is survey ready at all timesImplementation, negotiation and maintenance of certain community contractsAssisting in the development and management of a budgetConducting regular team meetingsPromoting an open door policy for all residents, family members and associatesMonitoring resident care on a daily basisImplementing the emergency procedures when necessaryLeading the recruitment and selection process for new hiresCoordinating training classes and orientation programs for new hires to ensure training is current and well documentedMaintaining payroll records, evaluations, and personnel files
