What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network and System Administrator position at INNOVATO Solutions?
We are looking to hire a System /Network Administrator who will work as a team member on our IT Team and be responsible for managing Network and Systems related issues, including but not limited to monitoring system performance, and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems.
Ultimately, you will ensure our software, hardware, servers, and networks run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and maintenance of Servers & Systems and Network
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Technical Support for all company users
- User Administration – SSO
- Networking Administration
- Web Service Administration Support
- Monitoring and maintenance of equipment and cloud services (AWS/GCP and local systems)
- Management of multiple firewalls in multiple sites: onsite, colocation, cloud
- Design, configure, and install servers and other corporate devices when needed
- Assist and train new system users and set up their accounts.
- Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware.
- Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications
- Update and maintain technical documentation.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery protocols
- Advanced knowledge of analyzing existing data networks and recommending scalable and supportable solutions
- Advanced knowledge of analysis/forensic tools, such as Solarwinds, Wireshark, Fluke, Netbrain, and other tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Server Load-Balancing appliances, such as Cisco, NetScaler, and F5
- Advanced knowledge of WAN Optimization implementations
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Wireless Access Points and controllers, or others such as Fortinet.
- Advanced knowledge of supporting Cisco LAN switches and firewall
- Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Assist in the research, recommendation, and implementation of various technology platforms
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience as a Senior System Administrator
- Competent in Windows OS, Windows Server OS, MAC OSX, Linux, VM Ware, Hyper-V, Fusion, Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki
- Solid understanding of server and systems management
- System Security – AV and or comparable proven techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team collaboration and good Team player
- Organizational skills – staying organized.
- Good communication skills
BS in Computer Science or similar field
Salary : $40 - $50
