Commercial Roofing Production Superintendent

Position Overview:

We are looking for an organized, results-driven, and safety-conscious Commercial Roofing Production Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive commercial roofing experience, and the ability to manage and guide multiple teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and manage multiple roofing crews on commercial roofing projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations for roofing teams, including material delivery, crew assignments, and equipment usage.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of safety, compliance with OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols on all job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure clear communication regarding project timelines, budget, and any potential issues.
• Conduct daily inspections of roofing work to ensure that the installation meets quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot any onsite issues and resolve conflicts or delays as they arise.
• Monitor labor productivity and provide guidance and coaching to team members to improve performance.
• Track and manage materials, tools, and equipment on job sites, ensuring everything is available and properly maintained.
• Complete daily reports, including progress updates, labor hours, and material usage.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date, including change orders and project modifications.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale roofing projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, built-up roofing, etc.) and installation methods.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage crews to deliver results on time.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and crews.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and project documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR) are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Prior experience with project management or estimating.
• Familiarity with roofing software or tools for job tracking and documentation.
