What You’ll Do…
The Project Manager will provide management oversight for all phases of our Highway 395 reconstruction project, including coordinating employees, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with quality, on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate for this role has strong leadership skills and a fastidious work ethic who motivates others and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
· Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of project phases following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
· Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and auditing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
· Coordinates the work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
· Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
· Is responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses. Interface with Foremen, managers and superintendents, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
· Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project phases within time and monies allocated.
· Reports to key stakeholders about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
· Plans, implements, tracks and closeout / turnover of project phases.
· Conducts and attends weekly project meetings.
· Manages day to day operational and tactical aspects.
· Manages day to day client interactions and expectations.
· Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and project costs.
· Manages and achieves revenue goals.
· Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting through company software (Viewpoint).
· Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken.
· Projects changes in scope and revenue.
· Administers Submittal Review process between Subcontractors/Suppliers and design team.
· Perform other related duties as may be requested/required.

What You’ll Bring…
Required Qualifications:
· Previous Caltrans or understanding of Caltrans specifications and contract requirements.
· Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR in accordance with Company Vehicle Program policy is required
· Proficiency with Blue Beam
· Proficiency with HCSS Heavy job
· Technically astute and strategic in thinking
· Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Viewpoint
· Dispute resolution skills
· Financial and job cost accounting knowledge
· Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other industry-related field
· At least 5 years of experience supporting commercial construction projects
Work Schedule:
· Full-time
· 8, 10, 12-hour shift(s)
· Monday through Friday
· Day/Night shift
· On call
· Weekends as needed

Important Notes:
· This position is based in Bishop, CA, (395 corridor) and requires full-time, in-office/on-site presence. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
· We are seeking qualified candidates that are available to start immediately.

Work Environment:
· Indoor and outdoor as required.
· Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold, and rain.
· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to safely climb up and on trucks and loads.
· Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
