Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present fresh, high-quality seafood dishes, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure fresh and timely seafood deliveries.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on seafood preparation techniques and kitchen efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and equipment.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Seafood Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Extensive knowledge of seafood preparation, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in food preparation.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
