Job Title : Sage 100 Upgrade / SME Consultant
Location : Remote
About the Role : We are seeking an experienced IT Lead to spearhead the upgrade of our ERP system from Sage 100 to a modernized platform. This critical role will oversee the technical and operational aspects of the transition, ensuring a seamless and efficient upgrade process that aligns with our business’s present and future needs. As a key driver of this initiative, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage integrations, and ensure business continuity throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities :
- Need IT Lead to spearhead the upgrade of ERP system from Sage 100 to a modernized platform. This individual will play a critical role in managing the technical and operational aspects of the upgrade process, ensuring a seamless transition while aligning the system with current and future business needs.
- The IT Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee integrations, and ensure business continuity throughout the project.
- Develop and manage the project plan for the Sage 100 upgrade, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Oversee system design, customization, and integration with existing platforms (e.g., Shopify, QuickBooks, Salesforce, ScanForce, Amazon).
- Ensure compliance with best practices for ERP implementations, including data security and scalability.
- Integration Management :
- Identify and document integration requirements with external systems such as ScanForce, Starship, WooCommerce, and Amazon.
- Work with technical teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Experience : Extensive experience in Sage 100 ERP upgrades or migrations, with a proven track record in ERP modernization projects.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of ERP systems and integrations, especially with platforms like Shopify, Salesforce, WooCommerce, and Amazon.
Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale IT projects.
Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve data flow and system compatibility challenges.
Certifications : Relevant certifications such as Sage Certified Consultant or PMP are a plus.
Communication : Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
