We are growing and are looking for a Veterinary Referral Coordinator who is passionate about building relationships, expanding our referral network, and supporting our clinic's culture.
What We Are Looking for in an Ideal Candidate
As a Veterinary Referral Coordinator, you will be an essential part of our team, serving as the primary liaison between our hospital and referring veterinarians. You'll be responsible for creating and nurturing relationships, managing referral processes, and supporting our clinic's outreach and marketing efforts. To be successful in this role, you'll bring a mix of veterinary knowledge, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to relationship-building. Here's what we're looking for in an ideal candidate :
- Veterinary Experience : Experience in a veterinary setting is a significant plus, especially if you have a DVM from a foreign country . Understanding veterinary practices, medical terminology, and procedures will help you better communicate with our veterinary partners and clients.
- Bilingual : Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required . As a bilingual professional, you'll play a key role in bridging communication gaps and expanding our reach in the community.
- Relationship Builder : You're a natural at forging and nurturing relationships. You'll build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with referring veterinary hospitals (primary DVMs) and clients. You'll ensure they see DCAH as a trusted partner in providing exceptional care.
- Marketing & Social Media Expertise : Experience in social media and marketing is a plus! You'll create engaging marketing materials such as videos, emails, and print materials to showcase DCAH's services to referring veterinarians and clients. If you have experience working with video production or collaborating with a videographer, that's a bonus!
- Proactive & Organized : You're a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll take the lead in building and expanding our referral base, tracking outreach activities, and maintaining detailed logs of interactions with referring partners.
- Event Planning & Outreach : You'll lead efforts to organize and execute community events, such as Howl-O-Ween and Vet Tech Week, as well as continuing education events for referring veterinarians. Your ability to plan and engage others will foster strong community connections.
- Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in digital tools and marketing platforms is essential. You'll help improve our social media presence and contribute to creating video content to engage pet owners and veterinarians alike.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Veterinary Referral Coordinator at Doral Centre Animal Hospital, your role will blend referral management , marketing strategy , and community outreach . You'll be responsible for :
Build and nurture strong relationships with referring veterinarians, ensuring they see DCAH as their go-to partner for referrals.
Lead the planning and execution of community events, such as Howl-O-Ween, Vet Tech Week, and holiday celebrations.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by leading initiatives that improve morale and ensure all team members feel valued.
Support the recruitment process by assisting in the hiring and onboarding of new employees.
