Position Overview :
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our doctors and technicians while delivering outstanding client and patient care. From assisting during exams to educating pet owners, your work will directly impact the well-being of animals in our community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exam room visits and procedures
- Educate clients on preventative care and general pet health
- Perform lab processing, phlebotomy, and digital radiology
- Safely handle and restrain patients for examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and fill prescriptions under supervision
- Care for boarding animals, including feeding and monitoring their well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience
