We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader with a strong background in engineering, excellent technical writing skills, and experience managing cross-functional teams. As a Production Engineering Manager, you will oversee production engineering activities, ensuring the highest quality of products and services while optimizing processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The Exciting Things You Will Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot complex production issues and develop innovative solutions that enhance product performance.
- Collaborate with product line managers, sales, manufacturing and service districts to enhance the reliability and performance of our products.
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and work collaboratively to provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Lead design and development activities including testing and qualification for electrical penetrators, gas lift valves, and other production equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to field service teams
- Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for production engineering processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate product development needs effectively to management and coordinate with the product development team to ensure alignment.
- Optimize operations processes to enhance product realization and elevate customer satisfaction levels.
- Responsible for product technical documentation, presentations, and review of technical sales
proposals.
- Leverage expertise in Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) and artificial lift systems to identify, design and implement effective production solutions.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) and artificial lift technologies.
- Knowledge of national and international electric codes and certifications
- Experience performing qualification testing of equipment to API and electrical codes
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on production engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software tools.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
