LaunchNW

LaunchNW is an initiative of Innovia Foundation that challenges our community to

come together to ensure every child has the opportunity and support to access their post-high school education or career of choice and meet their full potential.

Position Summary:

The Outreach and Youth Voice Program Associate is integral to increasing the visibility, reach and impact of LaunchNW and Innovia Foundation as it transforms lives and communities throughout a 20-county service area encompassing Eastern Washington and North Idaho. This position works closely with the LaunchNW team to support outreach strategies for Youth Voice, Engage In Real Life and All It Takes Is One partners. Strong candidates will be creative, skilled and highly motivated communicators with a passion for advancing equitable opportunities across the region.

Duties & Responsibilities

Community, Partner, and Youth Engagement

· Assist the LaunchNW team in promoting strategic initiatives throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho

· Assist with communication and support for Youth Leadership Councils, a network of youth volunteers from communities throughout the region

· Assist with event planning and logistics coordination

· Monitor, update and maintain the Engage In Real Life website

Event Planning

· Assist in the development of event promotional strategies

· Manage and clean event contact data

· Administrative support for event management

· Work with the Marketing team to develop attractive, cohesive print and digital collateral for event promotion

· Support with day-of event logistics

General Support

· Facilitate in-office copy and proof review

· Coordinate with vendors to order and print collateral

· Manage various office checklists and filing systems

· Organize and manage signage and in-office collateral

· Database management

Position Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have outstanding organizational skills and excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple projects independently will be important. Customer service experience and/or experience working in a business setting is vital.

Preferred software experience: Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Adobe Cloud Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Asana, WordPress, Canva and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.

Education/Experience:

· B.A. degree (emphasis on writing, communications, and or business and marketing preferred)

· Demonstrated proficiency using diverse technology platforms, programs and services, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Cloud Suites, Canva and WordPress

Physical Abilities:

· Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:

o Sit for prolonged periods of time;

o Walk and climb stairs;

o Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard;

o Utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information;

o Clearly see 20 feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors;

o Occasionally stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist;

o Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment:

The employee is exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
