Job Description:
One of our top clients is supporting a massive Space Gov/Fed agency & is responsible for all telecom, cloud, data center, streaming, and network services across all centers and facilities in the U.S.! This key position will join the Specialized Services group directly directly supporting the Office of Strategic Infrastructure (OSI) Facilities & Real Estate Division (FRED). With massive initiatives to integrate and enhance capabilities with RedHat OpenShift, this role will be a key player in the successful integration that will provide a Core Enterprise Solution. U.S. Citizenship/Green Card Holder required Active Public Trust clearance PREFERRED, **must be local to Hampton, VA**
- 10 years building & maintaining on-premises RedHat OpenShift platform – cluster management, application deployment, troubleshooting
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes management, containerization, and administration
- RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator – certification must be current, or on target to obtain in less than 2-3 months
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems – command lines and system admin tasks
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
Nice to have:
• Active Public Trust or Secret Clearance
- Address, build, and maintain the on-premises OpenShift container platform requirements, Kubernetes Engine, nodes, cluster data management, integrations, resources (pods, services, policies).
- Manage the dependencies on computing platforms work within a variety of different computer system environments, such as UNIX variants (Linux), RedHat OpenShift, and Microsoft Windows.
- Continuously improve cost management processes by identifying tools and methods for greater efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the OpenShift environment
- Work directly with customers and various technical team members to openly communicate and address project deadlines/requirements
