What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linux Systems Engineer position at Innovien Solutions?
Our client is hiring a key Linux resource to support the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS). With their current initiative to improve and modify their existing infrastructure – this person will have the opportunity to serve as a Linux SME in ensuring the health of critical systems supporting their day-to-day operations, which in turn will empower the agency to efficiently deliver essential resources and services to underserved communities across the country.
Requirements :
- 6 years of hands-on Linux systems engineering experience including Red Hat Linux
- 4 years’ experience with Ansible automation and configuration
- Extensive experience scripting with PowerShell
- Experience in a Windows systems environment
- Federal / Government agency project experience - must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (investigative background check w / fingerprinting)
- Excellent customer facing communication skills – ability to gather requirements, maintain responsiveness to client needs, work across technical team members, etc.
