INNOVIM is seeking a Technical Manual Writer to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Position Closes: 4/24/25
The candidate will:
- Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate artifacts IAW DoD/DID standards and/or corporate templates and requirements for review
- Participates in planning and creation of artifacts (both internal and CDRL based; templates and content)
- Coordinate and participate in review, publication, and delivery of artifacts
- Attend and participate in periodic large scale agile and waterfall planning events
The successful candidate will:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adept at organization, coordination, and integration of content from various stakeholders
Basic Requirements:
- Must have 4 years of directly related experience in technical writing
- Must have experience with the following software including: Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Must have experience with ownership of assigned documents and artifacts from beginning to end
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience in production and delivery of documents and artifacts IAW DoD/DID standards and/or corporate templates and requirements
- Have experience working on NISSC II Products/Applications
- Have knowledge of SGML editing software, such as PTC Arbortext or Adobe FrameMaker
