INNOVIM is seeking a Test Engineer to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
This position is located onsite, downtown Colorado Springs, CO
Description of Duties:
The Test Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
- The Test Engineer develops, maintains, and evaluates complex engineering computer systems. Performs testing and evaluation of engineering computer programs having features including the multiplicity of functions, critical constraints, and elaborate input/output.
- Develops test plans, procedures, and test reports.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing infrastructure for Product software/systems.
- Provides diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs.
- Assists in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques.
- Interprets requirements and performs analyses to ensure that objectives are met.
- Support Agile and Project team(s) in review and refinement of Acceptance/Verification/Validation Criteria and Software/System Test approaches.
Basic Requirements:
- Clearance Requirements: Active Secret
- Minimum 3 years of directly related experience.
- 3 years' experience in the testing and verification of software and/or systems. OR 3 years' experience in Legacy Space C2 Space Domain Awareness mission domain.
Desired Requirements:
- Active Security Certification
- Very strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working on Jacobs Products/Applications, specifically the Legacy Space C2 mission
- BS degree in a related scientific, or engineering discipline
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments.
- 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems.
