JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Epic Specialist with a focus on Ambulatory and Professional Billing (PB) modules. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in report writing, data analysis, and experience with Epic tools such as Slicer Dicer , Healthy Planet , Membership Roster Management , and Payer Platform . This role is critical in optimizing our Epic system for care management, reporting, and payer processes, ensuring efficient and accurate data management across clinical and financial operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis & Report Writing :
- Develop and maintain custom reports for ambulatory and PB areas using Epic's reporting tools.
- Use Slicer Dicer to create data sets, dashboards, and self-service reports for clinical and operational teams.
- Provide data insights to support decision-making across various departments.
Ambulatory and PB Expertise :
Serve as the subject matter expert for the Epic Ambulatory and PB modules.Assist with configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of these modules to ensure they meet organizational needs.Support end users by addressing technical and workflow-related issues.Healthy Planet & Population Health :
Leverage Healthy Planet to support population health initiatives, managing patient panels, care management, and tracking clinical quality metrics.Configure and manage population health registries and membership rosters for accountable care organizations (ACO) or value-based care models.Membership Roster Management :
Manage membership rosters for payer contracts and ensure accurate and timely roster submissions.Collaborate with payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in membership data.Payer Platform Support :
Support and optimize the integration between Epic's Payer Platform and external payer systems.Ensure accurate data exchange for claims, eligibility, and prior authorization workflows.Collaboration & Training :
Work closely with clinical, billing, and administrative staff to understand their reporting and data needs.Provide training and guidance to end users on Epic tools like Slicer Dicer and Healthy Planet.Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Epic tools and data into other systems.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience as an Epic analyst or specialist building expertise required.Certifications in Epic modules such as Ambulatory, PB, or Healthy Planet required.Strong expertise in Epic Ambulatory and Professional Billing (PB) modules required.Demonstrated experience with Slicer Dicer, Healthy Planet, and Membership Roster Management required.Familiarity with payer platform functionality and workflows.Advanced proficiency in Epic reporting tools, data analysis, and report writing.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Epic certification(s) in relevant modules is highly preferred.Previous experience in population health management or value-based care initiatives preferred.Experience with Epic Payer Platform and third-party integrations for claims and eligibility workflows preferred.Compensation : $96,000.00 - $144,000.00 annually.
