Alarm Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems throughout Innsbrook. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach to ensure homeowner satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test residential alarm systems, including intrusion detection, fire alarms, and surveillance equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems operate reliably.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for homeowners.
• Work directly with Innsbrook residents to assess their security needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, service visits, and equipment used.
• Follow safety guidelines and industry standards during all installations and repairs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, educating homeowners on system features and usage.

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or security systems is a plus.
• Experience as an alarm technician or in a similar role (1-3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of residential alarm system components, including wiring, sensors, and control panels.
• Familiarity with leading alarm brand, DSC, is an advantage.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must be able to travel within Innsbrook).
• Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer interaction.
• Comfortable working in residential settings, including attics or tight spaces, and lifting equipment as needed.
