About Us: We are a welcoming resort in Falmouth, MA offering comfortable accommodations, located near the water, shops and restaurants. We pride ourselves on providing a relaxing atmosphere for our guests. We’re seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to help ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and enjoyable stay.
Job Overview: As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of the resort, greeting guests and assisting them throughout their stay. You’ll handle check-ins, check-outs, and answer guest inquiries, while providing helpful information about the resort’s amenities and local attractions. This role is perfect for someone who loves customer service and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life, creating positive experiences, and solving problems with a smile. We are seeking someone who is able to work variable shifts between 7am-11pm, no overnights needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a positive, professional attitude
- Manage guest check-in/check-out process, including room assignments and key distribution
- Answer guest questions about resort amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Address guest concerns and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with basic concierge services such as recommending restaurants, activities, and directions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests
- Handle guest payments, ensure accurate billing, and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Provide additional support to the team as needed to ensure smooth resort operations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable using computers
- Experience with reservation systems a plus
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
