Overview
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining accurate and timely financial resporting; ensuring acceptable levels of internal control; ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and InnVentures Hotels Standard Operating Procedures; and safeguarding owners/investors assets.

Responsibilities
- Review of deposits and nightly sales postings
- Weekly review of accounts payable for expense coding and corresponding check runs
- Reconcile account balances monthly; identifying outstanding items, researching and resolving issues that arise
- Draft monthly financial statements for multiple properties
- Follow-up on outstanding items that come up during financial statement review
- Complete owners and auditors requests for information
- Process credit applications as they arise
- Interact well with immediate team members and hotel personnel
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting (assets and liabilities)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel and word)
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Effective communication skills
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary Range: $25-$28.85/hour
