Job Title : Logistics and Planning Coordinator
Reports To : Sr. Logistics and Planning Manager
FLSA Status : Exempt
Purpose of Job :
The Logistics and Planning Coordinator performs and fulfills a variety of procurement functions for hospitality Design / Procurement projects from inception through project completion. The position is instrumental in maintaining important supply chain initiatives necessary in executing successful hotel builds and renovations. The Logistics and Planning Coordinator is the liaison among clients, vendors and third parties, such as freight companies, for Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) shipping requirements to ensure a client’s project shipments are managed in a timely and efficient basis to meet the client’s delivery requirements for their project(s). The Logistics and Planning Coordinator will work in partnership with their Design & Procurement Consultant, Sr. Logistics and Planning Manager, Logistics and Planning Specialist, Project Managers and Credit Team to always ensure team & client awareness of project status.
Key Responsibilities :
- Place and confirm purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt and accuracy.
- Coordinate FF&E deliveries to align with project construction schedules.
- Proactively communicate with the project team about lead times, backorders, and deliveries.
- Maintain project documentation, including key decisions and revisions.
- Schedule deliveries, resolve supplier issues, and maintain accurate Excel tracking.
- Foster strong client relations and vendor partnerships.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience. Hospitality industry experience is required.
Travel : 10% (Occasional site visits and company meetings)
This position is remote with potential for travel.
