We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
- Sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas to promote hygiene and safety.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and available for guest use.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed.
- Manage housekeeping supplies efficiently, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Assist in housekeeping management tasks as required, including training new staff members on cleaning protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping management.
