Job Overview
Innvoke, LLC in Woodstock, Georgia, is seeking a skilled digital Flexographic Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in label print production and be proficient in operating the Flexographic press. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently to produce high-quality printed materials. The Flexo Press Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all print jobs are completed efficiently and meet our quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares and sets up equipment for the job(s) for runs.
- Operates the digital Flexo press on a daily basis, for multiple jobs.
- Operates the Turret Slitter Rewinder and die cutter.
- Examines job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences.
- Works closely with graphic design teams to execute print advertising materials that align with client expectations.
- Selects and installs printing plates, dies, and cylinders in machines according to specifications.
- Blends and tests inks and varnishes according to the material being printed and work order specifications.
- Pours ink and other materials into reservoirs of printing units, making measurements and adjustments to control color and viscosity.
- Loads, positions, and adjusts unprinted materials on equipment.
- Repositions printing plates, adjusts pressure rolls, or otherwise adjusts machines to improve print quality, using knobs, hand wheels, or hand tools.
- Monitors the printing processes of presses in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; makes any necessary adjustments.
- Inspects and examines printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects using specific test methods and equipment.
- Operates equipment at required speed to ensure proper ink coverage, alignment, and registration.
- Maintains, or adjusts equipment using proper preventive maintenance techniques.
- Removes printed materials from presses and transports them to storage or finishing areas.
- Ensures adherence to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company’s internal audit program.
- Ensures the work conducted within the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner.

- Safely operates equipment and transports materials and finished products within the facility.
Requirements
- 2 years proven experience as a digital Flexographic Press Operator or in a similar role within the label print industry.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Individual(s) must be able to monitor processes, materials and equipment, and can accurately assess quality through visual inspection.
- Familiarity with machining processes related to print production is preferred.
- Ability to manage color effectively and ensure accurate reproduction in printed materials.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Must be able to interact effectively with others, maintain flexibility, objectivity, and manage capacity and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This includes; time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
