INOAC, located in Livingston TN is hiring an experienced full time Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift.
The majority of your time will be with your team on the production floor. We are currently experiencing overtime.

The position involves interacting with employees and managers about production flow, employee instruction, quality control procedures, employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions, and initiating action plans.
INOAC in Livingston, is a proud supplier to Tier One Automotive industry, and produces automotive spoilers and body side moldings for GM, Chevrolet, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and others, with our products on vehicles locally and internationally.

The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor will have the following qualifications.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Direct and manage department function in order to drive Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morals throughout the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and motivate team members in their daily work utilizing tools such as daily team meetings effectively
Schedule work flow with team members to meet production requirements, including any necessary overtime.
Spend a significant amount of time on the floor auditing processes and implementing corrective action
Administer the plant handbook, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly
Ensure proper training and documentation of processes, job functions, safety, quality and housekeeping
Conduct performance evaluations and help team members set goals
Lead by example in promoting team involvement for continuous improvement
Communicate effectively with internal suppliers, customers, and other shifts in the department to ensure production schedules are met and quality product delivered
Maintain a clean and organized area or department, consistent with 5 S program
Monitor accuracy of reporting including timekeeping, attendance, and production records,
Understand environmental impacts and maintain compliance under OSHA/EPA/ISO guidelines.
Participate in IATF 16949-2016/ ISO 14001 activities or any other organizational certifications as needed
Other tasks as assigned by Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, use of hands to inspect parts, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talking and hearing. Employee will occasionally lift and/or move product. Developmental training will be defined by the Department Manager and could be in-house or external to the company.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Safety and quality oriented
2 years supervisory experience in an automotive supplier environment. Blow Molding experience a plus.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Ability to work with a personal computer and associated software (MS Windows, MS office etc.)
Ability to creatively solve issues and make sound decisions
Able to work any shift with overtime, possibly on short notice
Ability to travel, possibly overnight (<5% of the time)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills
Ability to establish and reach work goals through direct reports
must maintain strict confidentiality
