Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in Level 1 trauma. Travel experience of at least 1-2 assignments, not suitable for first travel assignment.
License : Registered Nurse License required.
Certifications : BLS (must be American Heart Association)
Must-Have : Experience in Level 1 trauma, travel nursing experience (at least 1-2 assignments), BLS certification.
Job Description :
- Provide patient care in a busy OR setting with 25 operating rooms.
- Handle a variety of cases, including orthopedic, general surgery, robotics, organ transplants (kidney), ENT, oral / maxillofacial, vascular / thoracic, urology, and pediatrics.
- Work with EMR system, Epic.
- Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment with 60-80 cases per day.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Neonate and pediatric experience is preferred, as well as trauma experience.
- Participate in weekend shifts; required to work either Saturday or Sunday, avoiding both days each weekend.
- No on-call duties for night shifts.
- Holiday work may be necessary, with a minimum of one holiday included.
- Scrubs provided by the facility.
- Expected to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism throughout each shift.
